We are pleased and honored to announce that here at Rainforest Retreat we reached a milestone above and beyond local standards by recieving our 1000th review online via Tripadvisor. Standing apart from our tourism peers, no other local operator has managed to gain such a high standard of continuous recognition for high quality accommodation, coupled with friendly and professional service!

Described as a ‘Great Campground’, the reviewer went on to say ‘This is a really great campground which gives you the feeling of being in the rainforest. Some places are however quite small. Showers, toilets, kitchen and the barbecue area are really clean. Several excursions on and around Franz Josef glacier can be arranged at the front desk’
