Amidst a rain forest, this holiday park is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. It’s a real blessing to see this when you wake up in the morning. After two weeks of traveling across the South Island, this holiday park ranks at the top of my list of most beautiful camper parks in New Zealand. Romina, the receptionist, was really friendly, too. She told me about the free-of-charge Jacuzzi and sauna, which is nice for the weary traveler. Last but not least, Monsoon Restaurant on Saturday night was really packed. Live sports on TV and a pool table made for one of the best nights during that trip.
