From start to finish I have LOVED my stay here… so much so that I had already stayed an extra night than originally planned, but then today I checked out and packed the car ready to continue my trip… but then changed my mind and checked back in!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Plus they offered me a cookie at check in – so I was already happy! I stayed in the backpackers, but here it is very aptly named the flashpackers. They have not only hairdryers but straighteners in the bathrooms; such a delight after 5 months without mine! The kitchen and lounge are all clean, well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant does amazing food – the beef and bacon burger I had last night was epic! They have a decent bar and very good happy hour offers. They also have a sauna and huge hot tub which is great especially after a big walk yesterday. Despite all this it was an absolute bargain. I’d have paid at least triple what I paid for these facilities. Don’t miss this place!
