The Rainforest is a large site featuring many sorts of accommodation. We stayed at the Deluxe Tree Hut which is brand new and were an absolute delight! After a long drive from Christchurch the hot tub located on the deck was a great way to end the day full of memorable sights. Parking underneath the lodge, there are stairs leading up to the rooms. We really had everything we needed in the rooms and since everything is new it’s in perfect condition. Waking up to beautiful mountains right from the bedroom was also on of our highlights in the Franz Josef area.
