My hubby and I ,,,with 4 month old golden retriever in tow were doing a roadie from Invercargill. Hadn’t booked and needed dog friendly accommodation. We found this amazing place. Being the month of June the coast is very quiet so plenty of space. Mel on reception was delightful and such a help. She gave us a cottage in the Gecko Village” perfect for puppy who is extremely well behaved and quite. Cabin ….and all accommodation is surrounded in bush. It was so quiet. We actually hardly saw another person down our I End and never heard a soul. I had a spa in the darkness and bush all to myself aswell. Best time to come in winter. Lucky to have perfect weather. The cabin has everything you need for comfort, a tiny bathroom but who cares.. not hanging out in there. Very warm and super clean. We totally loved it and highly recommend. All sorts of accommodation. ohhhhh and the gourmet pizzas at the restaurant are to die for. Just the best…
