Stayed here for 3 nights in June with my husband. We’d booked a Deluxe Tree Hut but were bumped up to a bigger lodge as we were on our honeymoon, which was a lovely touch! The lodge was top notch – spacious, 2 big bedrooms & the cosiest open kitchen + living room combo overlooking the snowy mountains. We felt like we were living in our own home – the kitchen apparatus provided were very decent & usable (unlike many other tiny hotel rooms) so we were able to cook quite a few of our own meals at leisure (very important in a tiny town like FJ). A simple but hearty breakfast basket was delivered fresh every evening for the next morning. We had access to 2 bottles of wine & a very well stocked fridge + fruit basket. But the best feature in the lodge has got to be the massive hot tub in the front porch, which we enjoyed almost everyday (even though it was 3 deg out!) Staff were very friendly & responsive as well, beds were super cosy & warm. We loved that it was very quiet & private as well. Overall top class furnishings & service – very much worth the $. We’d honestly drive all the way to FJ just to stay again. 🙂
