The Rainforest Retreat is hands down the best place we have stayed at in all of New Zealand. The Retreat caters to all levels of travellers from the frugal backpacker or communal campervanner to the “luxury boutique”. We ended up staying for 2 weeks because we loved the staff and facilities and met wonderful people there! The staff that went above and beyond; Mel, Sinead, Nicole, Kelly and oscar.
